Soccer Has Begun!!!!!!
Jonas is playing fall soccer again this year through the YMCA. This year his team is called the Green Dragons. Daddy is Assistant Coach and he also has Coach Marty again who coached his soccer team last fall and also his baseball team over the summer. The team has started out strong this year. Jonas really takes control when he is out on the field. He gets right in there and really focuses on turning the ball around on defense and dribbling down the field and keeping control on offense. He has so much fun and really enjoys his team members. He also really enjoys having Daddy as his coach!!!
Powers Girls Night Out :)
The Powers Girls decided to meet out for dinner along with a couple of Liz's friends. We ate at Havana Rumba and the food was delicious. After dinner, we headed to Brendan's where Lyn met up with us. Luke couldn't stand it and needed his girls, so he showed up and hung out with us. We had a lot of fun. We need to do this more often!!!

Watching Daddy Play Music
Tonight the kids got to attend a Hog Roast in Corydon where Daddy played music. It was a great treat to see Daddy and Uncle Luke play! The kids had lots of fun jumping on big bouncy gyms while the band put the equipment up. We ate good food and made many friends. Once the band started, Jonas and Josie truly enjoyed themselves watching Daddy and Uncle Luke play some good music. They did plenty of dancing and cheered the band on! This is the first time Josie has seen her Daddy play music and the last time Jonas saw him play was when he was about three. What a great time they had! Below you can see a little dancing action by Jonas. Josie was too busy socializing to get in the video.

Good News At Josie's Doc Appointment
We had our next doctor's appointment with Josie's Orthopaedic Doctor today. We received good news at our last visit in April, so we were anxiously awaiting more good news. They took X-rays of Josie's hips again and as you can see I snaped a shot of the view on the computer. Dr. Jacks said that things were progressing. While she is not completely satisfied with the development, she feels confident that everything will continue to progress with NO surgery. Yea! So another good report. We still have a long way to go and we are still not completely in the clear, but at this point things are looking good. We celebrated the good news with mother daughter lunch at Red Lobster. Josie being the social bug she is made many friends during our lunch. Thanks to everyone for their concern, support, and prayers!!

My Singing Angel
Please enjoy the beautiful and talented Josie Rose singing her two favorite songs. I am so thankful my two children seem to have the Powers gift for music! I one day see Josie, Jonas and Cousin Sam having their own band!!

Bounce Time At SIGS
Josie and I headed to Southern Indiana Gymnastics School (SIGS) to have a little fun. It will also help Josie get a good workout now that she is not participating in physical therapy weekly anymore. We had such a great time. She loves the BIG room full of trampolines, balance beams, blow-up slides, balls, and just about everything imaginable for kids to have a fun time. We ran into Cousin Sam's friend George and his mommy, Emily, who is Aunt Mere's best friend. At the end of the session, Josie and George decided to express their friendship by a little innocent kiss. We had fun and hope to run into them at SIGS each week. We plan to keep Cousin Sam one day soon and take him along with us.

Welcoming Elliott Joseph into the World :)
After two weeks of home bed rest and two weeks in the hospital on bed rest, Michelle went into labor at 37 & 1/2 weeks. I rushed to the hospital anxious for the delivery of the baby. We did not know the sex of the baby, so it was killing us all! Michelle looked so amazingly beautiful with her hair fixed and make-up on. She was such a trooper thru hours of labor. Finally, a beautiful baby boy was born at 3:20 AM on August 3rd weighing in at 8lbs 1oz and 20.5 inches long. His name is Elliott Joseph and he is a bald, beautiful baby. I am very partial to bald babies so all I wanted to do is kiss and rub his little head. Luke Bob now has a little brother to take care of. Congratulations to Joe, Michelle, Luke Bob, and all family members on the new addition to the family. The Powers Family is certainly happy and can't wait to spend time together with the kiddos.
